The annual Celebration of Learning showcases work by students, faculty and staff at Augustana. This year's celebration on May 8 included poster presentations, interactive sessions, an art show, panel presentations and special events.
On Saturday, Augustana College recognized 498 candidates for graduation at the 164th commencement ceremony. The commencement address was given by Dr. Lisa Durant-Jones, who served as Augustana's interim vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion during the 2023-2024 academic year. Viet Bui '24, an engineering physics and computer science double major from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was the featured student speaker.
This spring, the Augustana Symphonic Band traveled the Midwest, the Augustana Choir toured California and the Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble performed three concerts in Illinois. Through these tours, Augustana students get to experience different cultures and share their love of music with others.
Students in this program will complete two years at Augustana College and two years at Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences. They are assured a place in the Bachelor of Science Nursing program at Trinity College and will benefit from faculty co-advisors.

Spend a day at Augustana College to learn about a career in speech-language pathology or audiology! You will have the opportunity to meet with students and faculty in our program and talk with parents of the clients we serve. You will also learn about speech and hearing through hands-on activities like learning sign language and doing hearing screenings. Lunch will be provided, and there will be fun giveaways!
